As far as I can tell, st.drowsy started as something not meant to be found. Writing alone in Portland, recording late, making songs that sound like loneliness figured out how to become a room you could live in. He's moved between Portland and New York. The music sounds like neither and both.
Bedroom pop, lo-fi soul, soft distortion, guitar fragments, and vocals close enough to feel like a voice note he accidentally sent to everyone. The Pacific Northwest is in the production — that particular grey, that stillness.
Whatever this is, it lives somewhere between keshi's guitar confessions, Joji's cinematic grief, Montell Fish's ache, and Frank Ocean's habit of making you feel like you're reading someone's diary without permission.
